Is there anybody out there?
For the past 7 years, I thought punk, goth, skinhead and underground subculture had completely fizzled out. It was as the pandemic came to an end that I decided to put my curiosity to the test. As I journeyed around the country with my polaroid and DSLR capturing the most wonderful people: from the concrete jungles of Salford, to silent hilly moors of Leeds, to the busy crowded high streets of New Cross Gate, before my eyes I could see this creative fury arising from the cracks of Johnson and Truss’s Britain.
I realised we are not dead. We are here. And we’re ready.
